'I was horrified when I found out that chewing gum was made of plastic - the kind of plastic used to manufacture tyres and glue. What was more shocking was how very little awareness there is around the plastic content in regular gum.

I became fixated with the idea and was determined to create a super tasty, chic and sustainable alternative to what was out there. I quit my job in luxury fashion recruitment and spent over a year researching and developing what I thought was the best plant-based chewing gum.'
