About the artist
Kirsty Tanner is a Scottish artist, designer and maker, living in Liverpool. Working across paint, textiles and collage Kirsty explores natural and built environments and moments in time or memory.
Kirsty's childhood in rural Scotland meets her love of Modernist design and Brutalist architecture, combining abstract expressions of land or sky, with strong architectural line and negative space.
Kirsty has worked with museums, galleries and design retailers around the world including The Barbican, Tate Modern, V&A and The Whitechapel Gallery.
