A deckchair is a portable folding chair with a single strip of fabric as the backrest and seat. It is used for leisure, originally on the deck of an ocean liner or cruise ship.
John Thomas Moore took out a patent for adjustable folding chairs in 1886 and manufactured them in Macclesfield from 1887. Nowadays deck chairs are popular on beaches.
Riso-printed with soy based inks, on quality FSC certified card stock.
Please note that each print will vary very slightly, making each one one-off and unique. Offsetting may occur, we think adds extra charm.

About Scout Editions.
Scout Editions is a paper goods brand and design practice based in London. With a love for print, colour, folklore and adventure. They created a space to explore our ideas and stories. Formed by brother and sister, Wai and Pui. Pui is a graphic designer and illustrator.
They are inspired by ephemera, travel, nature, vintage picture books, history and archives. They take observations from the every day and find ways to translate and document their findings.
Scout Editions paper goods are printed locally in London on recycled and FSC papers with soy and water based inks. They experiment with print processes and formats, riso printing and hand-pulled screen printing to bring you a unique item which make great keepsakes and stories to pass on. Printed in small batches as Scout Editions wish to keep waste minimal, at the same time keeping the products unique and collectable.
